Danish alt-metal luminists MØL have released their third studio album DREAMCRUSH via Nuclear Blast Records and to celebrate have unveiled new single/video, 'Hud'.

Guitarist Nicolai Busse comments on the new single: "'Hud' was the first composition I started on after we released Diorama and after the birth of my daughter. Listening to the song always takes me back to sitting on our living room floor with a guitar in hand and plucking away while she would play. The track is seminal to me in that it not only helped me form ideas on how the record should sound, but also becoming a father."

Krateros is an emerging metal band from Helsinki, Finland, founded in 2023 and led by vocalist/guitarist and main songwriter Saku Rekonen. The band’s music combines influences from old-school thrash metal bands such as Annihilator, Exodus, and Megadeth with more contemporary acts like Trivium, Machine Head, and Stam1na — all the while being filtered through a progressive lens.

French death metal band WARSIDE, drawing influence from acts such as Dying Fetus, Vomitory, and Misery Index, will release their debut full-length album Cognitive Extinction on May 8th, 2026 via Gruesome Records. The album introduces a renewed lineup on vocals and drums, bringing increased intensity, precision, and cohesion to the band’s sound. Finnish theatrical metal band Endless Exam returns from couple years of hiatus from releasing new music with a new furious single "Shut up!". 

Vocalist Nina Kuronen tells about the theme of the song "The song is about mental violence. Intentional psychological violence. Belittling, threatening, blaming, manipulation that causes deep psychological wounds. A difficult topic that is often not visible from the outside."

Endless Exam from southern Finland is a theatrical metal band formed in 2020. The band combines atmospheric melodies with heavy rhythms, led by vocalist Nina Kuronen. 

The Finnish Death metal band Hautajaisyö are set to release their fifth album 'Surun paino' on March 20th 2026 via Inverse Records. 

The first single from the new Hautajaisyö album, Surun Paino (Weight of Sorrow), comes with brutality. 'Maan Nielemä' (Swallowed by Dirt) showcases the band at their best. It features heavy riffs, violent drums and low-growl vocals. The song is inspired by the year 536, the "Year of Darkness", when the world was shrouded in darkness and nearly all of humanity perished. Amidst the chaos, a lone gravedigger toils endlessly. The song has a DIY music video which was filmed in one take at the band's practice venue. This fits well, as the album was recorded by the band themselves using their own equipment.

" 'Maan Nielemä' is one of my favourite songs from the new album. It hits like a hammer on hot metal, and you can feel the darkness of the song. Making the video was damn fun. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do, and we tried to keep the costs down. Then we just 'hit our heads against the wall' until we had the finished video." says vocalist Janne Partanen 

Entering a new era of sound and identity, BURIAL PATH, one of the most electrifying voices in the deathcore underground, has released their latest single, “Between Soil and Sun.” The track marks a pivotal new chapter for the band and serves as the first release to feature new vocalist Maya Pobst.

A meditation on transmutation, grief, and the violence of becoming, "Between Soil and Sun" explores the tension between decay and rebirth, where identity is stripped down, interrogated, and reforged. Crushing instrumentation collides with visceral lyricism, capturing the turmoil of confronting conformity, internalized stigma, and the cost of self-realization.

Papa Necrose return with their second full-length, Anthropomorphy Execution, arriving on March 20th via Awakening Records on CD and digital.

Formed in 2010 in the harshest corners of Salvador, Bahia, the band delivers old-school death metal in its most real, cruel, and corrosive form. Their sound hits with riffs, crushing drums, and an atmosphere designed for those who crave the raw edge of the genre. Papa Necrose tackles human contradictions, religious hypocrisy, war, death, and other societal ills, exposing the underbelly of the world we live in.

Anthropomorphy Execution marks a moment of maturation for the band. While keeping their raw, aggressive style intact, the album explores more complex song structures, technical riffing, and layered compositions. Influences from the most technical ’90s death metal - Human (Death) and Testimony of the Ancients (Pestilence) - are evident throughout.

Lyrically, the album delivers sharp criticism of religion, focusing on the role of Catholicism in historic humanitarian crises, world wars, and the darker trajectories of power and authority.

Hailing from the Mikkeli–Jyväskylä–Helsinki axis, this four-piece melodic death metal juggernaut, Deadvoid Inc., once again showcases their fast, melodic and technical sound. The single 'The Wounds' is the fourth preview of the band’s debut album, due for release in March 2026.

Deadvoid Inc. is a Finnish melodic death metal band that blends elements ranging from classical music to extreme metal, creating an energetic, technically skilled, and 

completely distinctive musical entity. 

D-inc was formed in early 2025 when longtime acquaintances Jonne Saarinen (vocals) and Tuomas Torikka (composition & guitar) decided to build something new in the midst of everything old. The album was completed in its entirety, and prior to its release, guitarist Jami Honkala and bassist Ville Heino—both heavily involved in the making 

of the record—joined the band. 

On January 23rd Seattle’s VANISHMENT sophomore album, …And Now We Die, was released in full online and in stores. US-based prog-melodic blackened heavy metal project Dimension of the Abandoned have released a visualizer for “Deimos,” a track taken from their self-titled debut album, released on November 21st, 2025. 

Dimension was conceived in April 2022 by Rick Stallkamp. He had recently parted ways with the band Niviane, in which he was a founding member, after 7 years. Rick states regarding the split, “There were a myriad of reasons for leaving the band, suffice to say most of them were the old standard type clichés that go along with playing in a band, musical differences, financial issues, interpersonal conflicts.” In the 7 years he spent in the band, Niviane released two albums, “The Druid King” in 2017 & “The Ruthless Divine” in 2020. Three music videos released. Tours with Sirenia & Threat Signal in 2018, Vicious Rumors in 2018, and Soulfly in 2021. There were also great shows opening for Testament, Amon Amarth, Amorphis, Angra, Primal Fear, and many others.
 
Now venturing out on his own, Rick decided to focus on creating a new project. Rick clarifies his vision for the new band, “Being able to play the material I enjoy without the restrictions of genre or having every song & riff voted on by committee.” He also took this time to learn audio production & mixing. He felt this would allow him to be in control of his songs and how they would sound, as well as giving him a useful skill that could potentially translate into working with other bands.

Swiss force Vicious Rain unveil 'Trading Hearts', their new single that turns emotional conflict into a crushing metalcore statement. This is taken from their album The Anatomy of Surviving, set for release on 13th March 2026 via Arising Empire.

'Trading Hearts' lyrics portray a relationship spiraling into warfare, where pride outweighs connection and words become weapons. Driven by heavy verses and a huge, cathartic chorus, the track balances raw aggression with melodic weight. The dark electronic acts Dawn Of Ashes and Suicide Commando have today released a collaborative single entitled ‘Penumbra’. It is the first track to be issued from a new album by the former, ‘Anatomy Of Suffering’, which is scheduled for release on 20th March via Metropolis Records.

The single arrives on the eve of an ‘Acts Of Destruction’ tour of the US west coast by Dawn Of Ashes that commences in Los Angeles, the city where the group was founded by Kristof Bathory at the turn of the millennium.

"‘Penumbra’ channels the raw intensity and atmosphere of early ‘00s dark electro-industrial music, evoking a powerful sense of nostalgia while remaining uncompromising in its aggression,” explains Bathory of his alliance with Suicide Commado (the Belgian artist Johan Van Roy). “This single sets the tone for what lies ahead and serves as a fitting prelude for the destruction yet to come.”

With a group name that suggests ‘the beginning of the end’, Dawn Of Ashes emerged from the industrial and aggrotech genres before expanding into the blackened metal and extreme industrial scenes. Bathory and his band have been a relentless force ever since, evolving and redefining the boundaries of extreme music for over two decades.

Bathory relocated to Denmark shortly before writing and recording the band’s 2025 album, ‘Infecting The Scars’. It was a record that marked a rebirth, fusing the raw, unfiltered aggression of the past with a refined and evolved sound. A remix EP, ‘Reinfecting The Scars’, was issued in November.

JeGong, the collaborative force of Dahm Majuri Cipolla (MONO) and Reto Mäder (SUM OF R.), reveal their second single from their upcoming bold and genre-sculpting new album Gomi Kuzu Can (due 27th February via Pelagic Records).

The band comment: "With 'Parallel Tracks' we wanted to take sounds that might feel discarded or rough and give them new life. The title reflects how there are always multiple ways for sounds and grooves to come together, finding unexpected harmony. The video manifests this spirit, inspired by early motion graphics experiments, where the focus was on exploring possibilities and seeing what kinds of images would emerge from the sounds.

With its playful metallic clatter and sharp percussive hooks, 'Parallel Tracks' is a celebration of sonic detritus: discarded textures reassembled into something unexpectedly danceable, with darker grooves and sinewy rhythms. Here JeGong lean into a shadowy, post-punk-tinged energy, conjuring a sense of nocturnal movement. Bay Area Thrash legends EXODUS unleash Goliath, marking the triumphant return of Rob Dukes.

Mumbai, India extreme metal force GUTSLIT return with their blistering new single “I, Berzerker”, marking the band’s first release since 2023’s Carnal and the beginning of a new chapter in their relentless evolution. Released independently, the track showcases a sharpened, ferocious sound that reaffirms GUTSLIT’s position as one of the most uncompromising bands in modern death metal.
